Charity Auction
Weston Park International Model Air Show 19 June 2010


The organisers of the Weston Park International Model Airshow (www.westonparkmodelairshow.co.uk), held annualy at Weston Park, Weston-under-Lizard, Nr Shifnal Shropshire, kindly agreed to host a Charity Auction of items largely donated by traders at the show, please refer to our sponsors page for further details. The Model Airshow is a popular family event regularly attracting an audience of 20,000.

Weston Park is situated on the A5 at Weston-under-Lizard, just 30 minutes from Central Birmingham 3 miles off M54, Junction 3 & 8 miles off M6 Junction 12.

Auction Program

In addition to the lots listed on the auction program, on the day we received numerous kind donations, for the auction from traders
at the show.

2000 leaflets were distributed on the day, advertising the auction and promoting the foundation.

The organisers were kind enough to include promotion of the auction during the days flying comentary and to allow the auction to me moved to a mid evening slot in the "Refreshments!" Marquee whilst the live band for the evening were taking a mid set break, with the crowd in enthusiastic mood the auction was a resounding success, raising £832.00 including a number of additional cash donations from the crowd.

The Juli Spendley Foundation is currently providing individual financial support for vital Targeted Radiation Therapy to be provided at
the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead for which funding has been denied by the Dorset Primary Care (NHS) Trust
The Foundation is currently seeking charity status.
